Giethoorn, also known as “the Venice of Holland” or the “Venice of the North”, is a beautiful village in the Netherlands. There are no cars or roads here !!

We have (tourists) to leave the village outside the cars, and have to travel by water or walk on the lovely wooden bridges.

There you will find bikes or boats for rent, it may be small boats where you will go alone or there are also boats that make excursions with tour guide that will explain the history of the village during the ride for about 1h of time costs 7.5 € per person.

It has many museums and small local shops to buy souvenirs.

With beautiful scenery for beautiful photos, how lucky to live 20 minutes from there 😀

Giethoorn , também conhecida como “a Veneza da Holanda” ou a “Veneza do Norte”, é uma bonita vila na Holanda. Não há carros ou estradas aqui!!

Nós temos (turistas) que deixar fora da aldeia os carros, e têm que viajar por água ou a pé sobre as adoráveis pontes de madeira.

Alí vai encontrar bicicletas ou barcos para alugar, pode ser pequenos barcos onde você vai sozinho ou também tem barcos que fazem excursões com guia turístico que vai explicando a história da vila no decorrer do passeio mais ou menos 1h de tempo custa 7,5€ por pessoa.

Tem muitos museus e pequenas lojas locais para comprar souvenirs.
